My son was retrenched by his company on 14 October 2024. His team was affected by a retrenchment exercise—most were given only 1 day’s notice, and some received 1 month’s notice.
But by the grace of God, my son was granted a 2-year retrenchment programme. Have you ever heard of such a thing? I haven’t. He was the only one in the company to receive this arrangement.
